Summary: "Treating me Very Well"
Since I've had them, the desert boots have been a perfect fall/winter shoe. They are durable, and get a more genuine look with age. Goes best with straight, skinny/straight, or bootcut jeans.

Summary: "great look but sized odd and could use an extra row of eyelets"
I thought these were really cool. A great retro-cool look (made me want to drink Mai-Tais and listen to cool jazz) but the sizing was not right for my foot, so I returned them. I tried 2 sizes (I burned up the savings by having to pay return shipping to Amazon - some competing sites don't make you pay to return shoes......); the first my regular size which was too big, and then a half size smaller which was too small. As popular as these shoes are, my guess is that the problem is with my feet, not the shoes. It probably could have been helped if the shoes had an extra row of eyelets so the strings would go up just that much higher. But, I don't blame Clarks for not altering a classic.

I ordered these too late to expect Christmas delivery, but the great service folks at Schuyler Shoes took extra care to get them to me. The boot is fabulous - the person I gifted thanks me on a daily basis for the gift! This is the best boot out there - the cheaper copies are simply that - cheaper in every way. If Ellen Degeneres likes them, they've gotta be great! Go Ellen!

First time I saw this shoe I was about 16 in Tehran Iran, I loved the look,feel,and comfort of this shoe. specially it was made in England. I have always owned a pair since then. You be ammased,that they last for a long time. All you have to do is wash them once in a while with soap in warm water. Go ahead and buy one you would not regret it. Sand Suede is my favorite.
